Kaleigh Rhoads, Programs Manager, Charlie's Acres
Kaleigh is a California native and has a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Conservation from UC Berkeley. After graduating, she spent several years working in sanctuaries with exotic animals rescued from the pet and entertainment industries, including apes, monkeys, bears, and big cats. Now, she’s thrilled to be back in California, helping to educate people about the lives of farm animals and is extremely passionate about drawing the connections between feminism and animal rights.
Amanda Schramm, Animal Care Coordinator, Charlie's Acres
Amanda was born and raised in Indiana and earned a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies from St. Mary's College in Notre Dame. She formed a deep appreciation for local produce, became educated on food waste, and is an advocate for knowing where your food comes from. She's thrilled to be a part of Charlie's Acres, where she gets to combine her love of animals and food education.
Jenna Sanders, Founder, Napa Women's Circle
Jenna is a Wine Country girl who moved away long enough to earn a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from UC Irvine and a master’s degree in the History of Race and Ethnicity from CSU Fullerton. She worked in marketing and public relations for 10 years before creating the Napa Women’s Circle. She is excited to connect the women of the NWC with the mission driving Charlie’s Acres, the women behind the project, and the animals too!
